When a volunteer completes an opportunity, hours do not populate in the app right away.
This is because it is important that organizers have a chance to add or subtract hours to volunteers' time before it is credited to them, which is why hours must go through a confirmation process.
Organizers are required to confirm a volunteer's attendance before we can credit their hours to their account. However, volunteer coordinators are often busy, and sometimes don't complete the confirmation process.
If an organizer fails to confirm attendance, volunteers will receive an email within one week of completing a volunteer opportunity asking them to confirm their own hours.
